I've been taking classes from Abby on a consistent basis for at least three years. She is a GREAT teacher and is very good at looking at an individual and figuring out what techniques work for them and their body. I have greatly improved my skill level and also my body awareness while studying with her. She is great at breaking things down for beginners and she keeps class fun and focused and always challenging…in the best possible way! If you want a teacher grounded in solid dance technique and a firm grasp on the cultural context of Middle Eastern dancing… Abby's your girl!

Abby is an absolutely phenomenal teacher! She has an incredible amount of knowledge when it comes to the body and movement and you're in good hands whether you want to get up on stage some day or are just looking for a unique and super fun workout! I've grown so much as a dancer under her instruction and will remain a student for years to come. Can't recommend her enough!

I did this class [Dancing to Arabic Rhythms] yesterday and it was full of dancer NEED-TO-KNOW tidbits about the rhythms and movement qualities that accompany them (and WHY), regions, basic music theory, and super FUN combos. A great way to start the year of dance practice.

What a great class! I didn’t expect it to be so meaty. I really appreciated the technical breakdown followed by the progressive drills. I know I’ll retain this information because of the way it was structured.
